Hi all, I am new to this blog!!!
I have been asked to paint an outdoor area in a childrens school, they want bright colours....I have been to the local B & Q, and they haven't any outdoor bright colours. Could someone please suggest any other bright paints I could use please, for ourdoors???

Don't do what one of our neighbours has done and use emulsion paint outdoors. Look for proper wood-stain colours.

Try googling "bright outdoor paint" there are a number of suggestions, even one from Goy!

Ordinary paint intended for house and door windows should work, but if its a large area it will work out expensive by the time you've sanded primed and top coated.

Acrylic paint in tubs from art shops works on most surfaces and is very good on wood. I have painted pictures on security window panels on a Wendy house with this and it has survived for 15 years. However some creature is now nibbling the wood!
