Astrantia? ID, please!
Am I right in thinking this is an astrantia - it has popped up in a friend's garden, though he didn't plant it. Would it grow from see, if he managed to save some for me?

Yes, definitely Astrantia major. Collect seed when the heads have gone brown and scatter them in a patch in your garden. They can be tricky in pots as you need to chill them.

Certainly looks like an Astrantia - bit difficult to see properly what is it growing up though?
