I have autumn raspberries that I forgot to cut down in December. The old stems already have buds forming. Is it too late to cut them down or should they be cut down now. At this late stage which decision will give me a better crop.

I never cut down our autumn raspberries until the next spring. This will simply spur the plants into producing new canes for the coming autumn.
Don't worry, there should be no problem.
(I'm worse than you as I haven't cut down the summer fruiting ones either! I suspect that will be much more of a problem though I will remove the old canes in the spring.)
