With the flowers being clustered together, as in the second picture, indicates that it could well be Solanum crispum. However, the plants are very similar and both produce poisonous berries - if you eat them.
The Solanum family includes potatoes and the nightshades which all have poisonous berries, plus tomatoes which don't.

This isn't deadly nightshade [Atropa belladonna] but it is Solanum crispum. It looks similar, though with many more flowers, to woody nightshade [Solanum dulcamara] but is grown as a garden ornamental.
It is often commonly called a 'potato vine' and as BA says is in the same genus/family as woody nightshade, potatoes and tomatoes.

Many of the plants we grow in our gardens are poisonous just don't eat the fruits!

Have a look at deadly nightshade on Google images. The flower's totally different, and the large black berry's a whole lot classier, as befits its use as a beautifying agent. Drops of the juice were put into a lady's eyes to dilate the pupils, to make her even more attractive (our pupils dilate as we are attracted to a person, to 'drink in' their image), when she was out at a social occasion, or meeting her paramour.

And what has what you have in your garden got to do with anyone other than you?

Thank you all for your advise. Much appreciated

Would they object if you had foxgloves? Not their business really.

Or Lupins? Or Aconitum? Or Arum maculatum? Or Daphne mezureum? All poisonous plants.
Lets face it, carrots are poisonous, if you eat enough of them as is Lettuce.

I'd be far more worried if a neighbour had Japanese Knotweed in their garden!

How do I say thanks?
