And thank you Karensusan63 you are lucky, Although they damage all my

Freesia, have you seen the squirrel proof feeders from a company called Gardman ?
I've got a seed feeder and peanut feeder.
These 'particular' ones have both got terracotta lids and bases and the cylinder parts are teeth/nibble proof !!!
They're a large, wide feeder that hold a lot of product and cost about £7-8.
If you google Gardman they'll be listed, see what you think :-)

I think I have all these problems, being my house backs on to the fields.
I have all sorts of visitors coming in. When friends visit they cannot
believe how many Squirrels they see, they come right up to me as though they know who I am.........My friends ask me if I have named them all?
I do not regret living so close to fields, i love it......I feel sorry for people who
do not have these pleasures.
Louise1 I have looked Gardman up.looks very good. Once again Thanks!!
seaburngirl I LOL at your comment, that must happen to all of us at one time or another!! I am glad i am not the only one with this problem.

We have a large round, squirrel resistant bird feeder. The squirrels do get into it but getting out again once they have eaten too much is a challenge. My husband Barry had to march up to the feeder to panic the poor creature into making its escape. The birds and the squirrels (who are a pair), seem to have different time slots for eating in our garden so it is never a problem. We do however buy a lot of bird seed.

I just had to LOL when you said the Squirrels could not get out after
eating out of your feeder. You must have to buy a lot of seed seeing as
you have to cater for the birds and your two extra friends.....
