I am in competition with a male blackbird for our Blueberries. They are not strong enough to damage bushes.....I hope. :0))

I caught a middle aged bloke stripping red currants from a neighbours garden. He had walked down the side of the house as he had seen the plants from a footpath on the other side of the hedge. He said I was a nosey old cow and ran off. he made a mess. I did object to being called old!
So don't be too certain it wasn't human.

What a nerve! I had all my raspberries taken from my allotment once and discovered it when I went down to collect them for a dinner party. Grrr. Didn't you mind the cow bit?

I love it when people resort to name calling. It shows their inadequacy. Proves he wasn't up to a challenge because he ran off. Was it the shotgun or the machete which scared him?

Foxes are very fond of fruit, certainly they will eat blackberries.
