I have a small banana plant on my kitchen windowsill that seems to be leaking drops of clear liquid at the end of some of the leaves. Has anybody any idea why? Thanks.

Perfectly natural, and it's called guttation. Night time differences in transpiration cause pressure from root system to push sap through the leaf edges. Quite a few plants do it, including some grasses.
