If you want to keep some where they are just move the ones you don't want. You can plant them elsewhere or give them away. Best to wait a few weeks before moving them if you want to replant them. Plant them at the depth they are growing now - some like to be planted below the soil and some like their rhizomes above ground so the sun can shine on them.
