Does anybody recognize what the plant on the left is? I bought it from the bargain shelf (cheap) and it did not have a label. Obviously it is a biennial as it has not flowered. I thought the leaves were interesting.

Looks like "Ajuga reptans."

One of the species foxgloves?

Lutleyyeltz, I think that the leaves are bigger than the ones of ajuga ,(which I have as well)but the do have some similarity.
Never thought of foxglove Worthy1 but who knows I only grow the common digitalis and this has shorter and chubbier leaves. Will have to research what other kinds there are.
Thank you both for your input.

I can't see what texture the leaves have, although they look a bit 'felted' on the stalk. Have a look at digitalis x mertonensis.

That is a pretty digitalis Worthy. I hope it is the same plant.... but....I still think the leaves are not completely the same
