Yesterday I visited Wakehurst Place in Sussex. In the Nursery they were selling Broad Bean plants, Aquadulce variety. They were approximately 4" tall. Do you think you would get any beans from these and when?

Rather think these would be for an early crop next year. I think Aquadulce is one of the varieties recommended for this, but I'd only try it in a fairly mild and sheltered place.
