Today I found some pods containing seeds on my Judas Tree : when should I sow them (I'm inclined to do it immediately as if they'd fallen on the ground)?

Yes sown now and stood outside they should sprout when the leaves appear ob the old trees. Protect from mice and birds.

Many thanks Seaburngirl and Poaannua. Now I have discovered seeds in seed-cases that were still hanging onto Exochorda "The Bride", so will try them too: I like the idea of half in the greenhouse and half outside . . . probably slow to germinate though. I'll let you know how I get on.

« I can buy any sized pot . its a south facing wall and quite shady
i think i would too. I'd leave some outside and put others indoors as I dont know what conditions they need for germination.
