I had Cala lillies last year in a pot. I thought I had lost them, through the winter, and planted something else in the pot (using the same soil) Lo and behold once the really warm weather started Cala Lilly leaves started popping up. I now have a pot packed full of beautiful leaves but no flowers. Can I expect flowers next year, as I thought the Lillies may be just making *strength* after the winter?Do they sometimes grow blind? Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks. I can see the sense in what you are saying. Will feed. I thought they had completely died so planted some bedding plants in the pot.

Try feeding them with liquid plant food, perhaps with extra potash while the leaves are still green, to help build up the bulbs for next year. If they exhausted themselves last year they may take a couple of years building up again to recover. When you reuse the same compost in a pot feeding becomes even more vital.
