another botanical garden id.
the pale yellow discs are like little pillows (about an inch diameter), remind me very much of sherbert flying saucers. the flower stalk in top left corner belongs to the same shrub, which was probably 6 ft high and about the same spread.
And because some people here like them i've added the photo of the succulent/cactus patch

You could ask the University maybe...and a gentle hint that more labelling is needed!
