hi in my back garden i have 180 escollonias, red pink and white all round the perimeter as we are very exposed and suffer from strong winds, they have been planted for eighteen months and i know we have had a bad winter but they are not looking good considering they are meant to be evergreen - semi they have hardly any leaves and those they have are mostly covered in white spot please can you help

There is an Escallonia leaf spot that can occur close to the ground where it is more moist. Apparently spraying is no use. Give them all a good feed and mulch and hope that they perk up in spring.
