Erm, I thought membrecia/membresia was a Spanish/Portuguese word for membership!

The description of the picture could fit montbretia and the corms look like small bulbs.

Thank you...the bulbs I have could be corms. Hopefully whatever they are I will have spot full of flowers to look forward to!

Nothing springs to mind other than Montbretia, which is a false name from Crocosmia.
