I have a small gap (about six inches) between bottom of fence and ground where neighbours weeds come through. Can anyone suggest something that will fill the gap and look attractive. Thank you.

I'd go and buy some fence boards - these are usually made of wood and are about 9 inches deep, can be laid at the bottom of the fence down to the soil. Their purpose is really to protect any fence from damp in the soil, but they'll serve quite well for your purpose. Otherwise you can just by some lengths of featheredge fencing wood 9 inches deep and lay it longways to cover the gap - but make sure you buy pressure treated or tanalised, or they'll rot too quick
