Is it ok to split Primroses in October to transplant to containers and baskets.

I would be greatful for your answer

Now is a great time - I did just that yesterday.

Thanks Kildermorie, I will do them tomorrow lashing rain at the moment. Probably a silly question is it too late to plant seeds.

Primrose seeds? I think they need winter to stratify them to germinate, so if that seed then sow now.
