Should I pick all my sweetcorn now before the cold weather sets in, even though they don't seem quite ripe - i.e. the kernels have not filled out completely to the top of the cob? I do not want to lose them if there are frosts towards the end of this week.

I'd be tempted to harvest them and at least some of the kernals are swollen. the un filled parts will be edible just like the baby sweetcorn you can buy.
