what is its yearly growth? and will it grow in chalky soil?

On plant Ligustrum lucidum

Answers

This grows to 10 by 10 metres and prefers soil which is poor but not too dry or cold. My reference source suggests it prefers stony and clay soil, which means chalky should be fine.
