can i use super thrive plant food for gardenia plant?

Use a fertilizer for acid-loving plants several times a year, provide plenty of water (shouldn't be a problem in WA), protect from winds and don't let it freeze.

Superthrive is hormone supplement which will help the plant, but do use a fertilizer as suggested to feed the plant.
