My chitting potatoes are a lot slower at getting eyes than my kitchen potatoes, that have overtaken then and the eyes are nearly an inch long. They are in the same place on my counter, as too cold on windowsill. I know I should eat my potatoes, but I have been ill and not been eating for a few weeks and they have gone green and grown in the bowl by accident. (the kitchen ones that is)....chitting ones still brown and 1/2 inch eyes.

I have chucked the kitchen ones today when I did my cleaning, I was just wondering if there was anything wrong with the chitting ones.

I have noticed the same differnce between our kitchen potatoes and the chitting ones. The kitchen is much warmer than the spare bedroom where the chitting potatoes are.
