Hi, welcome to G o y, tthese plants rarely lower, so you're obviously doing something right, although the flowers are not very interesting, you can please yourself whether you allow it to carry on flowering or not, if you let it carry on, you can either cut the flower stem off when it's finished, or just let it rot off on its own, either way the plant will continue to grow as normal, Derek.
