Given that the weather is likely to be frosty within the next few days, should I wait to plant spring bulbs or rush them in today?

I planted all mine last week - they nead to go in early if you would like a good display in the spring - Plant as deep as the instructions tell you - Ken

Hi, I agree, get them in now, most spring flowering bulbs are planted at twice the depth of the bulb, so any frost would have to penetrate to that depth before any damage could possibly be done, and before frost could do that, it would have to last for weeks on end, Derek.

Thank you Ken bonsor and Derekm. I will do it tomorrow morning and hope the frost doesn't arrive till I've finished!
