I have a cold greenhouse with a propagator, I usually leave it until the end of march as I find that they need potting on before its warm enough for them in the greenhouse and if I leave them too long in the propagator they go leggy, its trial and error and whatever the weather does!

I agree with Pamq. I live in a much warmer place and won't start them until the next new moon (mid-March). Same with a lot of annuals.

Not yet as others have written... All you are likely to end up with is drawn plants.
Now I'm going to bump my gums a bit... there sees to be an obsession these days with trying to start your veggie plants in the middle of winter - why? The natural time for them to start and grown is spring i.e. now or later... Starting them off earlier in my opinion achieves very little!

Tomatoes need as much light as they do heat so I won't be planting mine for at least three or four weeks yet. (I'm in Notts by the way!)

early April for me. I have found that early ones are too leggy and the later ones soon out grow the earlies.
