do cordylines grow back.... i love my plants there are no leaves on them now just a pulpy head would hate to cut them and bin them ....please help ...thanks colin soon to be a member!

All the Cordylines in the NE of England (Northumberland) seem to be ok. I wonder if we have got of lightly this winter?

Ooh, doesn't sound good if they're mushy at the top. You can wait and see - cut them down a bit in early April, if no signs of life by end of April early May, they're ex cordylines I'm afraid. If its any comfort, you're not alone ... this winter has seen a huge number of casualties - the garden centres are probably getting stocked up with huge numbers as we speak...
