Widow Iris nosing above ground.
I have several Hermodactylus in pots and this year for the first time the foliage is 6" high. Does any one else have this? daffs etc regularly come up early but not these.

And a long dry mild spell like we've had here has provoked many things into flower and over. Some mahonias are nearly finished. Still the leaves are on so many trees, too. They'll slow to a stop when we get proper cold, no doubt.
