Each summer i buy a marguerite bush in a pot and over winter it completely dies. I have tried leaving it to see if there are signs of life but no! I think they are meant to return each year- what am i doing wrong?!

They are tender perennials and die at the first hint of cold weather. They need to be kept in a warm conservatory over winter and generally they are kept as cuttings rather than as the full plant.

If you lived somewhere hotter, they'd survive for some years - but not here!
