well I planted my Lupine's last summer, and their not dying. But they are getting new leaves and not getting any blooms. What should I do? Also my impatients were doing well from last august, now after the rains they are starting to shrivel up, What do I need to do to keep them from dying?

I would still have thought March too early for a lupin to flower, especially if the was only planted last August. Mekab are there lupins in flower in your neighbours gardens?

It is too early for your lupins to be flowering wait a few months. Impatiens are annuals you need to pull them out and start another lot.
