is it advisable to cut back lithodora when it becomes stragly

On plant Lithodora diffusa

Answers

Yes, cut it back hard. Many people grow a plant for a few years until it gets stragely then replace it with a new plant.

I agree, once a plant becomes established it starts producing underground stolons and sends new shoots up from these so cutting back is the thing to do.
