I have grown some penstemon seeds in a heated propogater, 20 have come through but after 10 days there are still only two leaves and they are becoming a bit leggy, should I try to prick them out and move them into the greenhouse? It is unheated and the weather is still very cold here in Yorkshire. Thank you.

Thank you so much, that's a great help.
I only found this site today and I'm very impressed.

If they are indoors then I would reduce the temperature of the propagator and leave the lid off during the day. Give them as much light as you can as this will reduce how much more leggy growth they put on.

i have only grown penstemons from cuttings, and have lots in my greenhouse at the moment, which is unheated.im no expert but i wouldn't put them out just yet until they get used to such cold night temperatures.you could try pricking them out and put half on a windowsil and maybe the other half in the greenhouse,at least that way you won't lose all of them.they are stronger plants than you think.hope that helps alittle
good luck.
