What do i do to my Teasel once it has finished over winter,
do i cut it down,or just tidy it up and leave it?

Oh! i thought they were Perrenial. First year since i planted them, so i
had no Knowledge of what to do with them......Thank you Seaburn....

they are bienials. you should find some prickly rosettes growing soon. they will then flower next year for you. :o)

Yes cut them down now as SBG says they are biennials and will not grow again.

I would leave them for a while longer as the birds enjoy the seed. Last year i had a lot of self seeders around the garden. Snake

after the winter we have had i dont suppose there will be any seed left. as you cut them down shake the seed heads to be sure all the seed is out.

Oh! i just cut them down and threw the heads on the Compost this
morning......idid not realise you had to shake the heads to loosen the Seeds.
Poor birds, i was told to leave them for the Birds, but did not know for how
long.....: >(((

well when you spread the compost you will teasels next year :o) unless the compost gets hot enough to kill them.

I usually cut them down to the ground and then new plants will grown from any seed that has fallen to the floor. I think they are annuals or biennials.
