Answers
Do not start any seeds off in dark warm airing cupboards they will be drawn and unhappy the minute they emerge!

You can start them outside mid-late april if you put a clear plastic soda bottle with the bottom cut out over the seeds. Make sure it stays moist inside. This gives you have a mini-greenhouse with no transplanting.

Next question
i normally put mine on the good old window sill or in the greenhouse at the end of march or alittle later if the weathers abit iffy.you can sow them straight out side in late april or may.ive found mine grow better in pots to start with then i move them to the flowering position in the garden, be prepared to stake them mine grow 6foot.try 'total eclipse' if you want a smaller one they are bronze and yellow and last in a vase for a while.
