Hi again, I have been given six boxes of fish blood and bone. I have looked at the back of the box and it says just sptead around the plants and keep away from the roots. would it be alright to hoe it in before planting because i will have a hundred or more plants and it would be time taking to do every plant. thanks marshall

Yes, scatter it over the soil and hoe it in. But not too thickly! Try to do this a week or so before you plant. I hope you don't have dogs, as they can eat the stuff.
