i have two blackcurrant plants and would like to know how well they may grow and how hardy they are they are ben nevis and ben lomond

all blackcurrents are normaly realy hardy hence the spikes.they can be a real pest in the wrong place

Depends on your soil, and where you are. We have both of these growing in rich soil in a cold area and they thrive. The only problem we ever have with them is birds pinching the fruit!
