have a passion flower climbing up through a tree.was wondering if new growth grows off existing old growth which has become "woody", or does it produce new growth from base? dont know whether to trim it back down to greener growth.plant is about 2 years old. thanks

how lovely ,i have just planted one on top of banking so i hope it takes of .my son has 1 on the side of his house and its huge do u have a pic on of it
