If it is to stay in one place maximum winter light is needed. so a sheltered spot facing south or south-west. But as the temperature will get hot in summer make sure you ventilate it well - prop open with a brick - and maybe shade it too - depending what is in there. Fleece - or an old net curtain makes good shade.
