I have recently sown lettuce seeds which were pre-mixed with vermiculite.
I have since discovered that some vermiculite can still contain asbestos.
Is this correct? Many thanks.

Not in the UK. Actually I prefer mixing mine with sand.

I've never mixed my lettuce seed with anything - they are so easy!!
