It may yet rise again! Protect it from the burning sun --cheesecloth on sticks is good--and feed it lightly with a high nitrogen, low phosphate, moderate potash fertilizer (3-1-2). Be careful not to overwater it, while it's short on foliage. Hopefully, it will show new sprouts in a few weeks, and once those are 8-12 inches long, you can remove the shade. Be sure to train that lawnmower better, too!
