If you mean apples, pears, plums, cherries, etc, there are a lot of fruit trees for sale that have been grafted onto rootstock specifically selected to keep them very small. These dwarf trees are ideal for small spaces and can even be grown in pots.
Most of the large plant and seed company's sell them, but my advice would be to visit a specialist fruit tree nursery and have a word with the nurseryman. He will advise you on what to get and I find that they tend to be very knowledgeable.

You don't say what fruit you are hoping to grow. Apples/pears/plums/cherries etc. the choice will depend on what you are hoping to grow.
