have bought bedding plants from b&q bees wont go near them,but go to other established plants.could they be sterile?

have bought bedding plants from b&q bees wont go near them,but go to other established plants.could they be sterile?

Bees very selective about plants they gather pollen from and bedding plants often annuals that do not seed readily so not heavy in pollen and little to be gained from bees cross pollenating as will not survive winter.This why returning to established plants they know where they are and apparently communicate this to other bees.
It could also be that as you bought them from B&Q the Bees wont appear without the Queues suggest you and some friends form a line around your garden...
