how do you get rid of snails and slugs that have plagued my garden for years,they seem to appear from nowhere,i am about to put a raised beds for veg?

Answers
Whatever method you choose to use is best done in February before they lay their eggs. This has dramatically reduced my snail/slug population. I even put a reminder on my calender each year!

encourage wildlife, blackbird, thrushes and frogs and toads love then, you can get slug pellets but they can harm bird if they eat them after, its an ongoing problem isnt it,also hedgehogs eat them to, i dont have a big problem as lots of wildlife in my garden, my neighbours pops plastic cups in ground around flowers with beer in and they love it, die smiling to lol
