Norfolk, United Kingdom
I bought some amarylis beladonna bulbs in Jersey three years ago. Planted them in a large clay pot facing south. They have never flowered, but for the past two years, have produced leaves in late winter/early spring that die down again at the first frosts. Neighbours seem to have success, but grown in the ground. We don't have any south facing borders that get full sun. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Previous question
They need more sun and warmth than they're getting, Roger, I think, - it's as simple as that.
