Plants for windbreak.
What can I plant besides to make a windbreak in my garden. I am on the top of a very windy hill. I was hoping my sweetcorn would work, but it will die in winter of course. I am wanting to shelter my veggies and have a place to sit out of the wind.

You'd need to be careful if the winters are particularly cold in your area, though - Griselinia isn't reliably hardy - wouldn't you agree, Sandra?

thanks. it is at least 5 deg colder here than 5 miles away in the valleys so will go with the hardier ones. shame I cant use fencing but it will just blow down.
