possibly P. denticulata.
if it is the flower stem will grow and it will look like a pompom on the end. it is often called the drumstick primula.

It is Primula denticulata just starting into growth. Ours are looking rather more stunted at this stage this year, presumably an effect of the winter.

Drum stick primula. You can grow more by taking some root cuttings. It is really easy. Look it up in a gardening book.
