I can never get my african violets to flower. Is the best way to water from the tray on the bottom of the pot?

There is good information about how to take care of African Violets. Light and temperature are important for flowering. See this website:

yes water from the bottom. I dont let them stay wet either I have mine on a north facing window sill so they get bright light but not direct sun. They also are kept away from the radiators and any draughts. So far I have had one for 5 yrs and it flowers regularly 3-4 times a year. I have several others that are relatively new to me and are resting after a long flowering period.
