I have a lovely old Honeysuckle which I grew up a washing line post to disguise it. It has flowered prolifically year on year but this year it looks mostly dead apart from a very few green shoots. Think this was caught by the very hard frost we had in February. Will it revive if I cut it right down to the ground or should I dig it up? If I can cut it right back, when is the right time to do it please? Thank you.

Cut off all the dead stuff and just leave anything that's green - if it has green shoots, then it isn't dead.

How do I say thanks?
