my coryline has gone limp andbrown, has all the snw we had this year killed it

Quite possibly, though not so much the snow as the cold temperatures. If there's no growth at the top, you can try cutting it down by half to see if it shoots from the base or up the stem, or just wait and see if it shoots on its own.
