Here's a tip from a professional! Using a half moon edger, take out about an inch of soil/turf, 2 inches deep all the way along where the lawn abuts the wall - then use long handled sideways cutting shears to trim it. If you take that bit of soil out, you will then be able to keep that edge cut very easily throughout the whole season.
