Hello
I hope you can help and re-assure me as to the condition of my Bay Tree. Our neighbours decided to cut our Bay Tree last August to the point of it looking like a cactus.
Please can you advise on how long it will take to grow back and what we can do to help this process.
Any advice on this situation would be grateful.

I would prune it all round (dont you just hate neighbours that do that?) and then leave it to shoot back, our neighbours did just the same thing so we pruned hard and it is looking very well at the moment. We dried all the excess leaves and gave them to friends for their cooking !
