Spongy moss-like growth is taking over our lawn at our cottage on the side of one of Surrey's hills. The local soil is sandy and the moss has been creeping along for the last couple of years.....we'd love our grass back!

im in the same situation but im buying some moss killer in b+q to scatter on the lawn.this will make the moss turn black and can then be easily raked out.then scatter some grass seed and the grass will take over from there.
